  • Overview

Patients with multiple myeloma frequently suffer from myeloma bone disease (MBD), which can lead to skeletal-related events, bone pain, and hypercalcemia.1 In fact, 80 percent of patients with multiple myeloma suffer from MBD and present with bone structure abnormalities in conventional radiographs at diagnosis.2 This makes early detection and monitoring critical, which is why Dr. Turck speaks with Dr. Jens Hillengass from the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center about the different imaging techniques available and how those methods can be put into practice.
